• Why do you go to worship services?

– To honor God. 1 Timothy 1:17; Hebrews 12:28

– To grow in one’s personal faith. Acts 2:42

– Be careful not to show complaints, burdens, etc.

and taint their vision of God’s people.

• Why is “Church of Christ” on the building?

– Jesus built His church. Mt. 16:18; Acts 2:47

– “church of Christ” is its scriptural name.

Romans 16:16; we belong to Christ Acts 20:28

• The word “church” means, “the called out ones”.

– The building is just where the church meets.

Examples… Acts 2:46; 1 Corinthians 11:18, 20

• Not a denominational name or affiliation.

• It is a place where spiritual work is done.

• Why do we have bible classes and

– We grow in faith by hearing/learning God’s

– Bible classes are a teaching arrangement

– Worship assemblies provide the time to do

some other things that the Lord wants us to

do together. Hebrews 10:24-25

• Why do we offer prayers?

songs?

– It is a sharing with Christ by partaking

– It is your opportunity to be saved.

• Adults: May we renew our efforts to

always teach our children the way of God!

spiritual safety of accepting God’s answers

especially in the realm of God’s truth.

• God wants us to use this opportunity to

cause? Matthew 19:3-9; Romans 7:2-3

– Because doing so would make you an adulterer.

– It generates lustful thoughts and lewd conduct.

– God prohibits it in all forms and degrees.

• Our children will ask many questions

about God, Christ, the church, the Bible

and so many other important related

things.

• Let us learn how to answer them and what

answers will give them the most strength

to secure them and the next generations

of those who will have their faith in Christ

for salvation!
