Whether you feel sick and need to get back to work or your child was sent home from school or needs that last-minute sports physical, you can see a physician with little to no wait time. The facility, located at 1378 Route 206, is tucked away from street view in The Village Shoppes at Montgomery, across the street from ShopRite. It is staffed by a licensed practical nurse and a primary care physician board certified in emergency medicine. A lab technician, X-r ay technician, and clinical assistant round out the Saint Peter’s Urgent Care Center team. When should I go to an urgent care center? Our healthcare professionals treat every- thing but life-threatening emergencies. Patients with serious medical conditions such as chest pain or major trauma should call 911 immediately . Conditions treated at the Urgent Care Center include: • lacerations • minor sports and orthopedic injuries • sore throats • colds • coughs • fever • asthma • back pain • skin rashes • urinary tract infections • sprains and strains • eye redness and irritation Individuals can also get their annual flu and pneumonia vaccines at the Urgent Care Center.
