Welcome to What’s On, VPL’s first issue of our newly designed guide to programs, special events and using your library.

I am happy to announce that ZAS Architects Inc. has been awarded the contract for architectural services for the new Civic Centre Resource Library. We are all looking forward to working with the architect to build an innovative new resource library that will offer the citizens of Vaughan new ways to Enrich Inspire Transform.

In providing new opportunities to see you at our existing libraries, beginning January 1, 2013, we will be extending our hours of service at Bathurst, Pierre Berton, Maple, Ansley Grove and Kleinburg Libraries. We hope these changes in hours will give you more opportunities to experience the wonderful resources found within our libraries and give you one more reason to see you at the library.

What’s On December January February 2012/20134
