Gordon Echtenkamp has been the President/CEO of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas since January 2002. His professional career began at the Kansas City YMCA in 1976, where he worked for seven years before moving to positions with YMCAs in Memphis, Houston, Phoenix and Des Moines before returning to Texas in 2002. He is a proud alumnus of Leadership Dallas Class of 2003, served as chair of the Character Coalition of North Texas, Chair of the Texas Alliance of YMCAs, served on the 2003 United Way Campaign Cabinet and on several pro-fessional boards including AYP (the Association of YMCA Directors) and the Na-tional YMCA Benefits Plan.

To apply:

1. Secure an advisor. Must be a *FULL-TIME* faculty or staff member.

2. Secure three (3) students who are in good standing with the University and have a minimum GPA of 2.0.

3. Click here to create a JagSync (OrgSync) account.

4. In JagSync, select Organizations, then click the “Register a New Organization” button to complete the online registration/recognition process.

1. Change the date of the application to the current date.

2. Update Organization Profile (found in the bottom left corner of administer screen).

3. Review your constitution; ensure it aligns with UNTD Student Organization Policy and Code of Conduct.

4. Review and modify Total Organizational Membership for 2013-2014.

5. Update President’s name and contact info (be sure email address is accurate).

6. Update Advisor’s name and contact info.

7. Read over UNTD policy on Hazing.
