Page 1: What went wrong during filming

What went wrong

during filming and

how I overcame it…

Page 2: What went wrong during filming

During my second shoot, I found

many things went wrong on the day

and I had to think quickly on my feet

to ensure the set backs didn’t have

even more effect on my filming

Page 3: What went wrong during filming

ERROR ONE:

THE TRIPOD LOCKER WAS LOCKED!!!

WHAT WENT WRONG: When I turned up to filming at my location,

I found that the locker with the tripod in was locked and seeing as I had

no key, I had to make do with the objects around the room to keep the

camera still.

HOW I OVERCAME THIS: This resulted to placing a bin on its side

on top of a chair to balance out the camera during the Will.I.Am scenes.

ERROR TWO:

MY ACTORS COULDN’T MAKE FILMING!!!

WHAT WENT WRONG: After a week of telling my actors what day

filming would be, I was told the day before that none of my original cast

could make the second shoot.

HOW I OVERCAME THIS: This meant I had to re-film during the

day with a new cast of only three members, only one of which was from

my original cast. This now means I have to either discard the original

film, or edit to make it look like the original cast were there in the second

scene.

ERROR THREE:

I HAD NO CAMERAMAN!!!

WHAT WENT WRONG: Because Nadia wasn’t in the day of filming and

everyone else in my year had lessons during the year, it meant I was left with no

cameraman to film the scenes with both me and the boys.

HOW I OVERCAME THIS: This meant I had to leave the camera running

and enter the scenes

ERROR FOUR:

THE PARTY POPPERS TOOK AGES TO POP!!!

WHAT WENT WRONG: Because the party poppers were a lot harder to

twist than originally imagined, it took a lot longer to pop them; this meant the

boys were waiting so long they came out of character so when the party

poppers finally popped the boys were both out of character and scared.

HOW I OVERCAME THIS: This meant the boys had a split second to get

back into their positions and because of the lack of time in the shot we had to

re-film again with a second party cannon.
