Brianna Booth September 1, 2015 Research to me is when you dive deep into a subject. It could be a subject of interest or it could be something that you are assigned to do. Research can be about many different things. You do research so that you can come up with ideas and opinions about the topic. Research shows gained knowledge in the certain area that is being researched. Research helps people better understand a certain topic and gives more insight on what the topic is about. o Rhetorical Awareness- being able to understand the surrounding of what you are talking about or what you are referring about. o Critical Reflection- being able to look back on the work that has been completed and analyzing and being critical of it to see if there is any holes or things that need to be fixed to better answer questions. o Knowledge of Conventions- knowing conventions means to be able to point out what is right or wrong in a writing piece. I.E. if you have correct information from your sources. o Composing Process- to me this is being about to find your process in writing. There is no set process in writing, its how you do it best o Critical Reading- reading something and paying attention to everything that is in the reading. You really dig deep into what

The terms above all work together to make a paper marvelous. Being able to use each one of them makes the paper better. They all work together as a team. If you use all the things above, it could seem like writing a paper was easier then what you thought.
