What is literature?•Literature (from Latin litters; letter) is the art of written works. Literally translated, the word literature means "acquaintance with letters" (as in the "arts and letters). (From: Wikipedia)

Type of literature?•Literature falls into two major types that are oral and written literature. - Oral literature is not written, but it is a story which says from someone to other people such as ballads, myths, jokes, folk tales and fables.

•Verse

Prose writing that is not poetry.•Fiction is a book that describes

imaginary people and events, not real ones such as novels, short story, fables, myths, dramas, etc.

•Non-fiction is books, articles or text about real facts, people and events such as autobiography and biography, diary, Newspaper, journal, etc.

Verse•Verse = writing that is arranged in lines, often with a regular rhythm or pattern of rhythm such as poem, poetry, etc.
