MECHANICS OF ADDICTION

BE CAREFUL…

Humanistic view: See…it’s not my fault It’s a chemical problem, not a moral problem We can ‘fix’ it

Spiritual view: Battle against the weakness of the flesh It’s an opportunity for growth, not a stumbling block God created us with this ability…how can we best use it?

I Cor. 16:15 – ‘…addicted to the ministry of the saints.’

God created us with this characteristic, it’s up to us to decide how we’re going to make it work in our lives

Eph. 6:13 – ‘Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand (present) in the evil day and having done all, to stand (future).
