What is it?

Blue Bio Value is the first accelerator thatscales up marine biobased solutions toglobal market applications in differentindustries, resorting to science-basedand biotech innovations, while helpingto tackle important societal challenges.

We are looking for applications from across the globe to join us in the mission to accelerate the transition to a global and sustainable blue bioeconomy while promoting a productive and healthy ocean.

Agenda

The Blue Bio Value Acceleration Program will have a duration of 8 weeks between September and November. During this period, we will help you: • Develop a profitable and sustainable

business model;• Validate your technology; • Identify key customer segments;• Build profitable customer

relationships;• Take your marine bio products to

market;• Generate revenue and be prepared

for fundraising and for investor meetings;

• Acquire several business and soft skills which are key for success;

• Gain access to a unique network of mentors, partners, potential clients and investors.

Is it for me?

We are looking for aspiring andcommitted entrepreneurs withcommercially viable projects along thevalue chain of marine bioresources:

• SME’s or Startups at prototype orlaunch stages or above;

• Teams with projects with highpotential to rapidly scale up to viablemarket applications ;

• A team of two (at least), ready tomove to Lisbon for at least 8 weeks.
