What is an AASE Rugby Programme?

Achieving Academic and Sporting Excellence (AASE) is targeted at talented 16-18yrs rugby students who have the aspirations and potential to play at the elite end of the game.

Acceptance is based on the candidate displaying the potential to play at an elite level and this is then followed by an interview with Bishop Burton College

What happens after the AASE?

The AASE programme has witnessed many success stories over the past few years, with many graduates going into the full-time professional academies and then first teams.

The majority of boys who don't sign professional contracts go on to higher education and/or become semi-professional players who play in the National Leagues
