•The people were asking the wrong questions

Micah 6:6-7

•“What can we bring to the Lord?    What kind of offerings should we give him?Should we bow before God    with offerings of yearling calves?

•Should we offer him thousands of rams    and ten thousand rivers of olive oil?Should we sacrifice our firstborn children    to pay for our sins?

What is Wrong with Their Questions

•The Heart behind their questions

•Their Pride

•Their Insincerity

Micah 6:8

• No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good,    and this is what he requires of you:to do what is right, to love mercy,    and to walk humbly with your God

What is TRULY GOOD In GOD’S

EYES? •The people in Micah’s time did not

know- Micah had to tell them

•Christians today have an advantage

•Indwelling Holy Spirit convicts us

Why don’t we DO what is Right?

•So Far from God that we don’t know

•We choose not to
