Keys Of Mentoring-involves focusing on Christ

-acceptance of one another

-spending time with others/building relationships

Keys Of Mentoring1) A guide; planning, leading, directing,

correcting, they should be positive, the mentor should provide motivation and encouragement

Keys Of Mentoring2) A resource; allowing their mentee to ask

questions without fear of ridicule, disappointment or belittlement. The mentor

should be the resource to the mentee concerning anything about their topic.

Keys Of Mentoring3) A support; communication, open availability,

encouragement, humor, trust, care, positive affirmation, gentle critiquing. Supports the

mentee in rethinking her learning

Keys Of Mentoring4) A connection; The mentor needs to be

connected with the mentee, her strengths, weaknesses, and stress level and level of

excitement.

Keys Of Mentoring5) An active participant. There should also be an active dialog between the mentor and the mentee. The communication between the two

participants must continually be two-way, allowing complete communication of ideas,

issues and collaboration.

Mentoring: Teaching in Relationship

Countless women today long to be nurtured. They want the love and

acceptance of a mother or a mother-substitute. They want to feel the warmth

and security of an older woman’s approval. And Countless women of faith

throughout the world today are the embodiment of these and other virtues

that equip them to nurture younger women. But they don’t know how to do it.

reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young

women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-

controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own

husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled
