BOX 38 VALLETTA VLT IOOO MALTA Dear Friends Our Annual Summer Barbeque remains one of the most popular social activities of our Association. We are very pleased to announce that this year this is being held on Friday 5th August 20{6 at the La Baija Restaurant, Hotel Le Meridien, $t Julian's at 8.00p.m. Perched on the top floor of Le M6ridien St Julian's Hotel & Spa in Malta, La Bajja is one of the highest rooftop restaurants in the area with awe-inspiring views over the Mediterranean Sea. We thought that this should be the perfect place for our al-fresco supmer meeting experience with a refreshing summer breeze. Our meal will start off with a choice from the following: Marinated Fruity Red Gabbage Couscous with Sundried Tomato and Bell Peppers Potato Salad with Honey, Wholegrain Mustard mayo Pasta Salad with Black Olive Tapenade and Ricotta Chicken Salad with Roasted Bell Pepperc and onions Roman Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber Balsamic Vinaigrette, Lemon Dressing, Classic Caesar Dressing, Pickles Freshly baked Bread roles and Whole Breads with Olive Oiland Butter This will be followed by a cold soup or pasta dish Gazpacho, pasta dish with Sundried Tomato, walnuts and Egg plants From the BBQ Grilled Pork Steaks with an apple Chutney and Sage Jus, Bacon and Herb Wrapped Chicken Breast with Basil Pesto Sauce, Orange and Thyme flavoured Fish Fillet with Garlic Bufter Accompanied by Market Grilled Vegetables and Jack Potatoes with Sour Cream This will be rounded up with desserts Gonsisting of Warm Apple Crumble, Black Forest Cake, Dark Chocolate Cup Cakes, or for the less sinful, fruit salad Flowing localwine (Merlot) and water or a soft drink forthose who do not drink wine will also be available. The price is €35 each for members and €38 for non-memberc. Free parking is available according to availability.
