Ist year workplan
Scopus “What do we know already about smart and liveable cities?”The objective is to manage knowledge to:1)identify and recognise the forms and functions of “smart and liveable cities”; 2)support an evolving framework for collaborative urbanism in partnership with citizens.
Target To compile state-of-the-art information, knowledge and data (1st year bottom-up)Main open question: how the “software” and “hardware” of cities can address societal, economic and political challenges. Priorities: The platform will identify the sources, type and volume of digital data available and even more importantly the gaps in data needed to understand the needs, preferences and behaviour of citizens.
Covered topics Governance, User Needs and Attitudes, Urban Design, Public Health, Entrepreneurship, Digital Data Sources/Technology, etc. Being comprehensive is not possible just start from what we need!
