FRIENDS OF WATER COOPERATION
What would it be like not to turn on the tap water and quench your thirst? Not to jump in the shower after a hard day’s work or play? Inspired by the United Nations 2013 designation, the focus is on the necessity of clean water--for health, hygiene, enjoyment--and the importance of helping, through education and diplomacy, those less fortunate than we are access to clean water.
Entry forms will be distributed to schools and available at the Library or on its website: www.westhamptonlibrary.net.

Major, a sweet, smart, active one and a half year old Labrador retriever mix, was found wandering along a busy highway by a kind passerby who brought him to Bideawee. Not surprisingly, Major can be nervous when first meeting new people, but with the help of Bideawee staff, he is beginning to learn to trust humans again. Major loves to play and exercise, is already house-broken and knows several commands.

Now is a great time to sign up for a library card
Now is a great time to visit the Westhampton Free Library and sign up for a library card. If you have a library card, then come and see all the materials and services that are available to you. The library card is the most important school supply our children currently have.
The Westhampton Free Library is your community hub. We offer programs for people of all ages. Not only do we offer programs, but your library card gives you access to books and computers, homework help, assistance with resumes and job searches, accurate financial information, music, movies and our Universal Class program. We look forward to seeing you throughout the year.
Westhampton Readers Can Provide Input To Library
Through Virtual Branch AnywhereWesthampton Free Library now gives our cardholders the opportunity to be a part of the decision making process when ordering new downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, and video for the Live-brary.com Free Downloads collection. You can browse through the Free Downloads catalogs and recommend titles you would like to see Live-brary.com carry.
The “OverDrive WIN Catalog” provides you with the option to discover and sample excerpts from hundreds of thousands of additional titles beyond the current Live-brary.com collection. You can also suggest titles you would like to see added to the catalog, giving you a new method of requesting electronic materials.
Other services that Live-brary.com offers through the OverDrive Win Catalog include a link to more than 300 independent U.S. online booksellers offering titles for sale, and the ability to directly connect with authors’ fan pages about literary events.
