TRANSCRIPT
West Coast: Bering to Baja is a 5000 mile photographic journey along the Pacific Rim of North America. It begins in the Aleutian Islands in the Ber-ing Sea, crosses the Gulf of Alaska, turns south through the Inside Pas-sage, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California, and ends at the tip of the Baja Peninsula. The renowned photographic historian Naomi Rosenblum places the images within the historical context of the land-scape. The world traveling author Simon Winchester writes about the powerful geologic forces that created this vast, diverse, volcanic sea-coast where earthquakes await. www.bering2baja.net.
