West Cheshire Federation (South Road) Presentation 2014 Friday 14th November 2014 saw the combined Hooton HS and West Cheshire Federation presentation evening. Hooton HS being one of the best organised flying clubs in the locality with a huge array of club trophies along with the federation trophies meant the trophy table was a sight to behold which unfortunately is a rare a sight these days. Congratulations to the Hooton HS for arranging such a display and presentation along with our federation hierarchy for an enjoyable evening with great company and excellent entertainment. The presentation party and presentation organisers (L to R) Ronnie and Jenny Dodd (West Cheshire Secretary) Dave Cottrell (WH Cottrell and Son Hooton HS Secretary) Brian and Karen Jones (Jones, Lamb and Daughter Hooton HS Highest prize winners) Ted Shore (Special Guest). The host and compare for the evening was Morris Thornhill, although not mentioned through the evening Morris has had to give up keeping and racing his pigeons due to pigeon lung but has stalwartly stayed in the position of club secretary for the Victoria HS and many thanks for his continued participation in the prize giving evening. Special guest for the evening was Ted Shore. Ted has been a figure head in pigeon racing in the locality for quite some years and it is a testament to his high standing within the sport that he was invited to present both the Hooton HS prizes along with West Cheshire federation prizes.
