Follow these easy steps to ensure you make the most of your superannuation savings and achieve the lifestyle you desire in retirement:

    1. Join ANZ Super Advantage. As long as ANZ Super Advantage is listed as your employer’s default fund, you don’t need to do anything. If this is the case, your employer will automatically direct your superannuation contributions to ANZ Super Advantage – chances are, if you are reading this brochure, this has already happened! If you're not already a member, the opportunity to get the Advantage is yours!

Once you become a member you should:

    2. Find and consolidate your superannuation into your ANZ Super Advantage account. Enjoy the convenience and benefits of having a single superannuation provider. To help make this happen refer to page 13 of this brochure and the Get it Together Super Transfer Service guide and form contained in your Welcome Kit.

    3. Register for ANZ Investor Access to manage your super online anytime. ANZ Investor Access provides you with secure, convenient and easy online access to your ANZ Super Advantage account. To get started refer to page 11 of this brochure and the SuperConnect guide contained in your Welcome Kit.

Your pathway to a rewarding retirement

  • ANZ and ING – A winning partnership

    3

By combining the strengths of ANZ and ING, ANZ Super Advantage offers a winning superannuation solution.

    ANZ

    > Strong > Different > Successful > Sustainable

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) is a major international banking and financial services group that has secured and retained a firm position as one of the top 50 banks globally.

With more than 1,000 points of representation in over 25 countries and in excess of 16,000 staff in Australia and 23,000 worldwide, ANZ is one of the most efficient, well managed and most successful banks in the world.

The ANZ record is clear and independently recognised:

Bank of the Year six years in a row* Best Financial Institution 2005†

    Strategic allies in success

ANZ recognises that in order to provide premium financial solutions, external skills and resources spanning a range of specialist functions are required.

For that reason, ANZ has formed a number of valuable alliances with premier organisations to ensure delivery of market-leading solutions, across a diverse range of sectors, to our clients.

ANZ’s search for a premium funds management partner resulted in the selection of the global ING Group (ING) and the formation of ING Australia as a joint venture partnership between ING, which owns 51%, and ANZ, which owns 49%.

    ING Australia currently manages:

    > over $6 billion of employer superannuation funds for more than 28,000 employers and over 510,000 members

    > in excess of $30 billion in assets under management for over one million individuals.

Through ANZ’s joint venture arrangement with ING, ANZ Super Advantage members have access to leading investment management, administration and Trustee services.

    * Money magazine’s Bank of the Year 2005. Personal Investor magazine’s Bank of the Year 2000–2005, inclusive.

    Why ING?

ING is one of the world’s largest wealth managers and one of Australia’s leading fund managers and life insurers, providing employer superannuation solutions for Australian businesses since 1979.

ING Australia uses ING Investment Management (INGIM) to manage ING investment fund options, however, INGIM is not a subsidiary of ING Australia. INGIM is the specialist global manager within the ING Group.

The next section of this brochure is designed to highlight the features and benefits your employer has made available to you now, and which you can benefit from for many years ahead.

We also encourage you to familiarise yourself with the ANZ Super Advantage Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) which is provided on CD in your Welcome Kit or is available from www.anz.com/wealth/super or by phoning 13 38 63.

    INGIM

    > More than 2,400 staff across 29 countries.

    > Global assets under management A$563 billion.

    > Currently manages in excess of $33 billion in Australia.

  • Investment Choice

You have the potential to maximise returns while managing risk by diversifying your superannuation across a choice of over 55 specially managed investment funds.

Enjoy access to funds managed by ING’s active ‘Manage the Managers’ (MTM) solution – OptiMix, Russell, INGIM as well as other leading external fund managers.

By covering a broad investment range, ANZ Super Advantage has established a strong foundation you can use to build wealth now to enjoy later in retirement. ANZ Super Advantage makes this possible by offering funds which:

    > invest in Australia and internationally

    > invest in all major asset classes

    > are managed by a range of external fund managers, using different investment styles and

    > offer different levels of risk.

    Investment strategy selection

You have the opportunity to design your own personal investment strategy by selecting funds from the wide range available within ANZ Super Advantage. A financial adviser can assist you with assessing the risks of investing and the types of investment funds that are appropriate for your circumstances. If you do not choose your own investment strategy, your employer or Trustee will select a default investment strategy to reflect the overall superannuation needs of all employees.

For more information on the investment funds available to you, please refer to the Investment Information Book contained on the CD in your Welcome Kit.

    Flexible insurance coverage

Help protect those closest to you through insurance cover, conveniently packaged within your superannuation. The advantages of having insurance through your employer’s superannuation plan can include:

    > a lower premium – as you may have access to group premium rates rather than individual rates

    > a certain level of cover without the need to provide any health evidence and

    > premiums deducted directly from your account balance.

If you move to a new fund as a personal member, it is likely that you will need to answer questions regarding your health and pastimes and you may even need to make a declaration to the Insurer. Depending on the level of cover required you may also need to undergo medical tests and provide details about your financial circumstances.

Your employer may have the option of offering the following forms of insurance cover to you as part of your superannuation package without any underwriting needed:

    > Death Only Cover (including terminal illness).

    > Death (including terminal illness) and Total & Permanent Disablement (TPD) Cover.

    > Group Salary Continuance (GSC) Cover.
