A large portion of the garden is dedicated to vegetable gardening.

In 2014, this garden donated over 1800 pounds of produce to Manna. Two or three times a year we coordinate with the

Grow It Eat It program to offer workshops/exhibits to the public.

Are you curious about what to do with a limited garden space? Our 100-Square-Foot Garden produced over

390 pounds last year. Come and see how they did it.

See how to grow food on straw bales, in containers and vertically.

Examine the many hand-made structureswe use and attend a Grow It Eat It workshop

to learn how to make one.

We have a well-maintained, labeled Kitchen Garden

Maybe you’re interested in knowing which varieties of fruit grow best in this area without the use of pesticides, using IPM methods.

Wander through the small fruit beds located in the Vegetable area.

…and if you just want to grow things that smell good, stroll down the brick path to the Fragrance Garden.

Be sure not to miss the Chocolate-Scented Daisy.

Our composting area makes most of the compost for the entire garden. Come and see it in operation and

talk to the experts who maintain it.

Perhaps making a fairy garden in a pot!

play in, covered with just the right kind of plants.

Flowers from Therapeutic Horticulture beds are used to provide nursing home residents an opportunity to experience nature’s beauty. Get tips on which flowers work best in arrangements.

Would you like to create a butterfly habitat in your yard?

Come and see which plants attract butterflies and skippers.

We demonstrate the use of 2 kinds of ponds. One is prefab and the other is

constructed with a free-form liner.
