Astoria ColumnThe Astoria Column is the perfect place to begin your Paci�c Coast vacation. The park grounds are open daily from sunup to sundown. Here, you’ll �nd picnic tables, benches, public restrooms, and view�nders providing views of the Columbia River, the Astoria-Megler Bridge, Young’s Bay and Saddle Mountain. There’s also access to the Cathedral Tree hiking trail.

Don’t forget to stop in the gift shop to pick up a glider before climbing the to the viewing platform. It’s only 164 steps to what we call the most beautiful view in the world.
