Musical Theater Musical Theater focuses on, but is not limited to, acting, vocal
performance, dance, non-dance movement, and staging, which
transfer readily to performances in musicals and other venues.

Performing Arts Guitar
Guitar Guitar develops basic guitar skills and knowledge, including simple and full-strum chords, bass lines and lead sheets, barre and power chords, foundational music literacy and theory, major scales, simple finger-picking patterns, and ensemble skills for a variety of music. AP Music Theory Theory The purpose of this course is to develop
the student’s ability to recognize and
understand the basic materials and
processes in any music that is heard or
read in score.
Students are expected to take a final AP
exam.
Jazz Ensemble Students with experience on an instrument suited for jazz ensemble explore the fundamentals of performance practices, improvisation, and music theory through a diverse repertoire of high-quality jazz literature.

techniques and skills
through reading music,
acquiring and applying knowledge of music

role of keyboard music in

Stagecraft

Journalism The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop fundamental skills in the production of journalism across print, platforms and to develop knowledge of journalism history, ethics use, and management techniques related to the production of journalistic media.
