First Coast Outfitters provides quality and fun kayak tours, rentals, classes and more to the Jacksonville area! Owner Joe Crespi has influenced the Jacksonville kayak community in a very positive way, founding The Jacksonville Kayaking Meetup Group and participating as a member in many North Florida water associations. First Coast Outfitters can be found at 2305 Beach Boulevard, Suite 110. They are open Tuesdays through Sundays from 11am to 6pm. Not that our boating season stops here at Beach Marine but it does slow down
and we have already seen it. All the assortments of ball games to our kids
yodeling classes, but we still need to make sure our vessels are ready for next
year’s season! There is a long list of things that you can do to make sure your
vessels are in tip top shape for next year. Here are a few that are on the list,
change oil and filter, fuel filters, fuel stabilizer to the fuel tanks and spray the
hole engine with a product called 6-56 from CRC marine. All of these
maintenance tools can be purchased from our ship store or get an early start
through our service department. I always say spending a little money now will
save you big bucks down the road! Happy boating and stay warm!

words from Mel Brooke’s movie History of the World Part 1 now apply to
Beach Marine’s boat sales division with the release of the latest market share
data. This release showed that we are now the #1 boat dealer in the
Jacksonville market in both recreational boats from 19 feet to 53 feet with
Regal boats and 18 feet to 30 feet in quality fishing boats with Scout boats!
We could not be any prouder of the team of employees and partners that
have made this possible.
We live and play in the Sunshine State. The sun light is great but also has harmful effects. The ultra-violet (UV) part of the light spectrum is not visible so we are not aware of it until harm is done. We are all aware of sunburn but many are not aware that UV harms the eyes also. I grew up living on the Chesapeake Bay. I wore sunglasses but at that time glasses did not offer UV protection. I developed cataracts at an early age because of my exposure to UV while on the water. The sunglasses that are in Your Ships Store all give UV protection and are polarized. The Gone Fishing® brand of sunglasses have nine shades of color with various degrees of light transmission. There are Floating Air Frames™ that will not sink in water. The floaters are made with a high technology injected hollow-frame. Gone Fishing brand also has Fishing Readers; these have a small circle of clear magnifying glass that is not polarized. The magnification comes in +1.50, +2.00, or +2.50 to fit one’s correction needs for close up vision. The Readers will allow one to see the chart plotter/sonar or tie small knots in monofilament line without taking off the glasses. Prices range from $23.99 to $39.99 and are factory warranted for life. Your Ships Store also has Calcutta® brand sunglasses that are stylish with a large variety of frames and colors. Calcutta® glasses range in price from 20.99 to 28.99. We also have accessories for sunglasses like floating cases and floating straps. Remember that especially on the water sunglasses not only make one more comfortable but protects the eyes from UV radiation.
