Welcome to MTSU! We invite you to take a self guided walking tour of some of our residence halls from 12noon – 2pm on the second day of Customs. The rooms below will be available to view during these designated hours only. There will be staff available in each room to answer questions. We are unable to provide tours of all our facilities due to certain buildings being occupied or renovated. We have provided a list to help you determine which hall most closely resembles the hall you are interested in. Show rooms will be available for viewing in each of the five buildings listed below. All buildings have safety and security features like: fire sprinklers, fire alarms, card-swipe access points and an Adopt-a-Cop, who is an MTSU Police Officer assigned to the community. Each area also includes basic amenities such as: a furnished room, study space, computer lab, laundry facility and a front desk. Residents will be able to do their laundry for free, so leave your quarters at home. Additional information may be obtained on the Housing website http://mtsu.edu/living-on- campus. Available Showrooms: Freshman CUSTOMS Beasley 101 – Beasley is a recently renovated, interior access building that features a bright, window- filled lobby on the first floor with TV, kitchen, laundry room, and study areas. It is home to both the WISE Living Learning Community, and RIM students. Beasley has a shared hallway and community bathrooms on each floor, and shares a courtyard with Sims, Smith, Gracy, Judd, and the Cyber Café. It is located near the Keathley University Center, Walnut Grove, and the new Science Building. Rooms in Beasley are similar to those in Monohan, Lyon, Smith, Sims, Corlew, and Cummings Halls. Deere Hall 122 – Deere is a recently renovated gated, exterior access building that features quad style bathrooms. Similar to Gracy, four double occupancy rooms share each bath. Deere has a front desk, with a lounge/ t.v. room, laundry room and a kitchen on each floor. A courtyard is shared with Nicks Hall. Deere is located near the Walker Library. Rooms in Deere are similar to Gracy, Judd and Nicks. Deere and Nicks is the home of the True Blue Learning Community. Mary Hall 367 - Mary is part of the recently renovated Lyon Complex featuring interior access and community bathrooms. Lyon Complex is home to the Honors Living Learning Community, which provides Honors students special personal and academic support. It is located on the western edge of campus off Middle Tennessee Blvd. Rooms in Mary are similar to McHenry, Beasley, Sims, Smith, Corlew and Cummings halls. Cummings 222 – Cummings is a recently renovated interior access building that features double occupancy rooms and community bathrooms. Cummings is home to several Housing & Residential Life Learning Communities. It is located in the middle of campus next to the Business and Aerospace building. Rooms in Cummings are similar to Schardt, Reynolds, Beasley, Sims, Smith and Corlew halls. Womack Lane (Apartments) A17 – Students are assigned to recently renovated single or double occupancy one and two bedroom, one bath apartments. The kitchen, dining room area and living room area are shared by all occupants. Residents of Womack include first year students, upper classmen and families. Womack is located on the east side of campus adjacent to the Recreation / Health & Wellness Center. Enjoy your stay at MTSU! We look forward to having you on campus this fall!
