WHAT IS E-WASTE RECYCLING?It’s the proper removal of tech equipment so that harmful byproducts do not contaminate
landfills and are properly disposed.
WHAT PRODUCTS ARE CONSIDERED E-WASTE?
Monitors, laptops, switches, USB systems,
keyboards & mice, speakers, hard drives,
wires & cables, TVs, DVDs, VCRs, stereos,
cameras, cell phones, office equipment, and more!
E-Waste RecyclingMTSU participates in an ongoing
E-Waste Recycling Program to repurpose, reuse, and recycle
electrical and computer components.
But no drop-offs of e-wasteat Campus Recycling Center.
Instead, call us and we’ll pick up e-waste and special recyclables:

Rutherford County Recycling Center 1140 Haley Road
Right off Middle Tennessee Blvd.
Open 24/7!

IN YOUR DORM1. Avoid wasting food, use perishables
first 2. Switch to fluorescent bulbs
3. Keep your refrigerator door closed 4. Store food in glass or ceramic
containers 5. Turn off water while brushing your
teeth
6. When shaving or washing your face, brush your teeth while waiting for the
water to warm up 7. Set your thermostat two degrees lower
in winter and two higher in summer 8. Always turn off lights when leaving your
room 9. Unplug electronics that are not being
used, like your cell phone charger
