We have been in the greenhouse business for over forty-six years. It has always been our goal to
bring quality, sustainably-grown plants at an affordable price to the retailer. We offer a wide variety
of natives (flower, grasses, sedges, and shrubs), perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables, hanging
baskets, fall mums, and a special selection of certified organic vegetable and herb plants. All
perennials and herbs will be grown in 18-count. However, we can do custom grown 32-count if you
pre-order them. We can also do custom grown 72-count organic vegetable and herb transplants for
your fields. SEE NEW ITEMS ON PAGE 2. Delivery is available or you can arrange to pick up your
orders at the greenhouse.
Our “state of the art” greenhouse range allows us to remain on the cutting edge of production
techniques. We have built a new soil-handling room so now we can use all bulk soil modules
eliminating plastic bagged soils. We have also added additional greenhouse space to better serve
our valued customers.
Jeremiah continues to administer integrated pest management in our greenhouses by using
scheduled releases of predatory insects for control of pests. Correct timing, succession plantings,
and precise regulation of growing temperatures and moisture keep our crop healthy and pest-free
without the use of harsh chemicals. We use NO chemical insecticides, NO herbicides, NO growth
retardants, and NO genetically modified seeds.
We are also very fortunate to have a reliable and diligent full-time staff to help with the production
and shipping of our plants.

“NO NICS” – STATE APPROVED BEE AND BUTTERFLY FRIENDLY
We are committed to production methods friendly to bees and butterflies. We use NO neonicotinoids
in our greenhouse operation. We have also painstakingly researched our suppliers to get their
assurance that they use no “neonics”. In addition, we offer the most extensive selection of pollinator
plants available.
SPECIAL ORDER PLANTS
We are always willing to grow special items not listed in our catalog. We ask for a 25% down
payment on these items when they are ordered. We may also ask for a minimum order when we
need to bring in special seed or cuttings. Please get these orders to us early so we have time to get
seed and grow the crop to maturity.
HOME OF GLACIAL RIDGE NATIVES
Here in west central Minnesota, among lakes and prairie marshland carved into the rolling
countryside, we continue to grow and propagate plants that have resided here since before written
history.
Ice and snow shaped and tilled the land preparing it for a diverse and stunning covering of grasses
and flowers. The area became an ever-changing landscape, with four seasons of color and
shimmering texture. The scale and grandeur of the wild prairie land inspired awe and wonder among
the first explorers.
At Glacial Ridge we nurture the natives, producing the same handsome and hardy plants that have
inhabited the prairies for centuries. We strive to bring back and restore the genetics of the past to
insure the beauty and diversity of the future. Now everyone can experience a bit of what the early
explorers to the Great Plains experienced. We are “RESTORING THE NATIVE PRAIRIE ONE
BACKYARD AT A TIME.”
HOME OF GLACIAL RIDGE MINNESOTA HARDY PERENNIALS
We are also happy to offer you a wide variety of Minnesota Hardy Perennials. We have shady, sunny,
and climbing perennials. These are offered in 18 count. We can custom grow them in 32 count if
they are pre-ordered.
You can profit two ways with these Glacial Ridge Hardies:
1) Immediate sales of the 18 count perennials – Each pot is labeled for individual sales.
Double your money by putting these plants directly into the sales area. We have a great
selection of reasonably priced perennials for your customers. Run “full flat specials” for
those who wish to start or fill a perennial bed.

2) Move in to one gallon pots. In about four weeks you can have a saleable perennial from an
18-count plant. Again, each plant is tagged. All you need are one gallon pots and soil. Any
plants remaining from your 18 count pots can be moved into one gallon containers for
summer or fall sales. Many of these perennials bloom the first season.
HOME OF DECK MATES
These varieties have been selected for compact stature and high yields in small spaces. “Deck
Mates” will perform well in containers and add beauty, flavor, and productivity to any patio or deck.
Be sure to bring these items on board!
HOME OF GLACIAL RIDGE ANNUALS, HANGING BASKETS,
HERBS, AND VEGETABLES
At Glacial Ridge we grow a wide and unique variety of annuals, hanging baskets, herbs, and
vegetable plants. These plants are all individually tagged and ready to sell. Our herbs will be grown
as 18 count unless you special order them in 32 count.
HOME OF GLACIAL RIDGE ORGANICS
We continually strive to improve our offerings to you. We are proud to continue to add to our line of
organic HERBS (with a hanging Herb Basket) and vegetables. These are USDA certified and come
with an informative colored label. All these plants begin with either certified organic or approved
untreated seeds. They are grown with our certified organic feed and pest management system in a
separate organic greenhouse. Please contact us early if you have an interest in carrying our organic
line.
HOME OF GLACIAL RIDGE ORGANIC VEGETABLE TRANSPLANTS
We continue to offer our certified organic vegetable transplants in 72 count trays for the organic
vegetable grower. We can supply the seed or you can supply your own seed. Seed quality is very
important. If you supply your own seed you will need to supply 100 seeds per tray. We cannot
achieve a higher percentage yield than the germination rate of your seed.
GLACIAL RIDGE GROWERS, INC.
Over forty-five years of growing experience has enabled us to refine our list to varieties that
consistently sell well. Our plants are a tribute to a natural, harmonious life-style and thrive in our
climate.
EARLY ORDER DISCOUNT
All orders placed by January 20, 2020 will be booked with a 2% discount. All varieties are subject to

We look forward to helping supply your needs for the 2020 season.

DELIVERY CHARGE
We can deliver your order or you may pick it up at our greenhouses. (Please call ahead for all pick-
ups so that your order will be ready and waiting for you.) If you need a delivery please contact us for
delivery costs and arrangements. During the peak season we do regular deliveries to the Twin Cities
and surrounding areas. (In order to keep delivery costs reasonable for all customers we try to pool
our deliveries with customers in the same general vicinity.)
DISPLAY RACKS
We offer metal rolling racks for display and sales of your natives. Each rack has an informative point
of purchase banner making the rack an instant focus for sales. Each rack holds twenty-five flats of
plants.
The racks rent for $45/each for the entire selling season. Racks must be ordered by January 20th to
ensure availability. Racks may be ordered for use after Mother’s Day weekend for $35/each for the
rest of the selling season.
FUNDRAISERS
We work with many groups that organize plant fundraisers. Please call us with questions that you
might have about these fundraising opportunities.
Order early so we can assure that you get the varieties that you want. (We need a firm order for your
group so that we can save those plants for YOU!) Before you put together an order form for your
customers make sure of the availability of the plants that you would like to offer. Also decide upon a
delivery date now. Talk to us soon so that we can get that delivery date on our calendar.
If you are new to plant fundraisers, give us a call and we will discuss how you can be successful with
a fun and profitable event.
NEW THIS YEAR: FALL MUM FUNDRAISER
Collect orders with your spring fundraiser order. We would like mum orders in by May. Mums will be
delivered near the beginning of the school year in the fall. Big, beautiful mums for garden, deck, or
pots.
WHOLESALE ORDERS
Wholesale orders must include an 8 flat minimum. Less than 8 flats per order will be subject to an
upcharge. Orders that are delivered before June 1st must be full flats of one variety per flat. Orders

POLLINATOR PLANTS MARKET PAKS
Minnesota State Horticultural Society
A nonprofit organization
Growing Gardeners for 154 Years
MSHS wants gardeners to have easy options for planting pollinator gardens. Glacial Ridge
Growers in Glenwood, MN is supporting this effort by growing pollinator plant variety market
packs. Help MSHS by selling them to your customers – a $3 donation per flat ordered is
given to MSHS from Glacial Ridge.
These specially selected paks are designed to help your gardeners create habitat in their
gardens for pollinators. There are 4 market pak collections: one for bees, one for butterflies,
one for Hummingbirds, and one for Monarchs.
These handy market paks with colorful handles are an easy sell for today’s gardeners who
are concerned about the challenges our pollinators are facing. Each 6 pak has 6 different
perennial plants (most are natives) designed to attract a specific pollinator. Plus, they
provide interesting color and texture to our sunny gardens.
Each flat holds 3 market paks of the same pollinator mixture. The plant mixtures have been
carefully selected so that all six plants in a market pak have similar watering needs at your
garden center. All of these market paks should be placed in a full sun location in your sales
area.
