Getting Ready for College:PSAT/NMSQT
What: The PSAT is the Preliminary SAT for All Juniors and Sophomores● “Measures” your critical thinking and reasoning skills in reading, math, and
writing● Provides a starting point for SAT Study
When: October 10, 8:15am-11:30am, Dismissed from afternoon classes.
Where: Here at Gateway, Rosters will be posted around school
How Much: $0 for Sophomores, paid for by SFUSD $0 for Juniors - paid for by Gateway
Why: ● Get feedback for how well you might do on the SAT● To help get you exposed and ready for the REAL SAT that you will take your
junior year● Start getting ready for college when you get your scores ● Can help to show which AP’s you are ready for
