Post Tour1 Day Tour Tianjin

Tianjin is one of the four municipalities directly under the Central Government in China. The city is one of the biggest industrial and port cities in China and it is also known as 'the diamond of the Bohai Gulf'. Historical changes in the past 600 years have made Tianjian a unique city with a mixture of ancient

and modern in both Chinese and Western styles.

Jing Yuan—It is the heritage site under city protection and the important historic architecture under the special protection area of Tianjin. As a building where modern Chinese history comes to life, it archives the flow of time in its materiality. The

last emperor, Pu yi had just left his unquiet life in this courtyard which was built in 1921.

Tianhou Palace—The only palace for Matsu, is a Goddess of sea for fishmen. Tianjin is the center of Matsu culture in north China. The saying of 'having the Goddess Temple first and then Tianjin City itself' proves the important position of the Matsu culture in the development of civilization of Tianjin.

Ancient Cultural Street—It is located on the west bank of the Haihe River, with Tianhou Palace as its geographical center. Although essentially a business street, it attracts tourists who come to see its special architectural styles, admire its classic cultural features, buy various folk crafts, and sample the delicious local Tianjin snacks.

Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China.Beijing has served as a capital of the country for more than 800 years. The city has many places of historic interest and scenic beauty.

Forbidden City—It is the Imperial Palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and, it is one of the largest, and certainly the most completely restored, ancient architectural complex in the world.

Temple of Heaven—It is decorated in blue, the color of the Heavens. The perfect harmony between the architectural environment and nature can be felt here; you might easily imagine the vivid spectacle of a great sacrifice to the Heavens for a good harvest.

Badaling Great Wall—It is a symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and a world-renowned fortification. The Great Wall was first built in the 7th century B.C. and completed during the reign of the first Emperor of Qin. It was extended during the Ming Dynasty. Being one of the "seven wonders of the world", it has been listed as a world cultural heritage.
