practical parenting help for various stages
of your child's life. We know this book will
be incredibly helpful for parents and adults
who care about youth in our homes,
church, and community! Mark your
calendar for November 12, 26, and
December 10 to join us at 7:00 p.m. in the

While supplies last, anyone is welcome to
purchase Growing With at the discounted

PRAYER REQUESTS
CHURCH FAMILY
Praise God that Jacob Bos had a
successful surgery on his ankle on
Thursday! The doctor was able to remove
fragments of bone and repair a damaged
ligament. Pray for a smooth recovery and
patience as Jacob will be in a walking
boot for a few weeks.
Continue to pray for Madyson Heidema
and their family as they await a surgery
date to put in a new pacemaker and
remove the old one. They prayerfully ask
that an appointment becomes available
sooner than is currently projected for
these important surgeries.
As cold weather sets in, please pray for
safety on the roads as students travel
to school, parents drive to work, and
others head out on vacation trips. Pray for
our first responders, too.
Thank you for your prayers for Sheila
Heidema. Continue to pray that her
treatments will go well.
Rob & Julie Hager thank you for your
faithful and continued prayers. Pray for
strength and wisdom as they deal with
Rob’s health.
Remember to pray for all our senior
church members who are living in various
retirement homes: Ethel Dykstra, Grace
Douma, Dorothea Kimm, and Jerita
Andriesen (in Personal Care at the
Churchill Retirement Home), and Jeanette
Visser (at Mountain View Care Center).
Keep Pastor Tim and Heidi in your prayers
as they minister with us.
Pray for Kyle De Boer and his duties as
Youth Director.
Please pray for our part-time staff: Jim &
Bonnie Potts, Deb Flikkema, Jana Van
Dam, Kathy Eekhoff, Lisa Heidema, and
Robert Poelman.
Be in prayer for our Council members.
EXTENDED CHURCH FAMILY &
COMMUNITY
From Jennifer Sofie: "I wanted to share
that it is with sadness that our friend
Michael Coulson, who had the brain
cancer, went to be with Jesus on Thursday
night. Please keep his wife and four
teenage kids in your prayers.”
Please continue to pray for healing for Eric
Danhof. He is in his chemotherapy
treatment plan. They ask that we pray that
the cancer does not metastasize to other
organs, as they feel at this time it is limited
to his bladder.
Roger Herbrandson has completed his
round of treatments and will have four
weeks off. Pray for good results so that he
will be able to have surgery after that time.
He and Patti appreciate your prayers.
Please continue to uphold Clary and Joyce Flikkema in your prayers as they deal with cancer. Clary has completed his treatments and his scan came out very good; so he is now on a maintenance program. Please pray for good nutrition and rest for them both. The Flikkema families thank you for your prayers!
DO YOU HAVE AN UPDATE FOR THE PRAYER LIST?
Call the office at 282-7442, your district elder, or John and Eileen at 388-3032.
SUPPORTED MISSIONARIES &
THE GLOBAL CHURCH
Pray for Mark Eekhoff as he plans to leave
(from Seattle) on October 6 for several
months to finish up his work in Nairobi,
Kenya. Pray, too, as he hopes to continue
a ministry with the Shepherd Boys in
Lesotho. His co-workers there (in Lesotho)
are Caleb and Tobias and they plan to
stay working there. Mark hopes to return
home eventually and find a way to
support that work from here.
Be in prayer for Dorothea Kirkendall and
her work as Wycliffe Prayer Coordinator.
Pray for Lauren and Connie Runia and
their work with Bible translation for
Wycliffe.
From Gary Schipper: “This past week we
went from Honduras to El Salvador. The purpose is two-fold: First; to visit
Francisco Reyes; a dedicated missionary
from El Salvador who has been training
TLT materials in 8 centers around the
north coast of Honduras. Secondly; Rose
is with me, not only as great company :)
but also as she will be training three
groups of leaders involved in ministry to
women coming out of abusive situations. Finally; we will return with Francisco to
neighboring El Salvador. Please pray for
wisdom, energy and safety. Thanks for
partnering with us.”
Keep Rick and Becky Luth in your prayers
as they work with YWAM. They say:
“Thank you all for praying for us and
generously giving to our family. Please
know how grateful we are for your
continued support to us!”
Pray for Kurtis Schutter who works with the
Navigators in the Netherlands. Pray for his
new teammates, Scott & Briana Trout, as
they adjust to life there. And, pray for them
all as they follow up with new students this
season.
Mark and Jennifer Underhill returned to
the US this summer, had their twins, and
started their new work at MSU. Mark is
focusing his effort on evangelism with
international students and fraternity guys.
Pray for them as they seek God’s direction
in the future.
Pray for Jesse and Megan Radoslovich and
their work with Cru at Montana State, as
they reach out to the students there.
Continue to pray for Sosthene and Kara
Maletoungou.and their work in West
Africa.
Pray for Jeffery and Melissa Bos and their family as they resume their work in
Oman. Pray for good planning as Jeff and
his colleagues host groups from around
the world to learn together at the Al
Amana Centre this year.
Pray for John Westra as he visits prisoners
and leads Bible study with Bozeman Prison
Ministries.
Pray for the work that Pastor Jack does in
the Bozeman prison, as well as the
Montana State Prison at Deer Lodge.
