What is a play? (2I2)

1.A play is a live performance onstage which consists of mostly dialogue and the use of props.

2.A performance where actors act out scenes from a script.

What is a play? (2I1)

1. Plays are performed with actors, usually have a script, have different scenes/acts, and are displayed visually.

2. A written form of theatre.

3. A play is a staged event where actors act out a scripted plot with equipment such as props and costumes, in front of a live audience.

4. A play is a piece of literature that is acted out; usually involves actors and props; sometimes adapted from a book.

5. A play is a live performance with actors; can be poetry/prose; sometimes involves an orchestra; made up of many scenes which make up acts. Meant to be realistic and have dramatic irony; words can be used instead of props.

6. A group of actors performing a scripted story which may or may not be original, through actions and/or speeches, often with the assistance of props, live onstage.
