as the interim principal at COPE

Center North! As a Miami-Dade

County Public Schools educator of

26 years, it has been my privilege to

serve the district as a teacher,

reading coach and assistant

principal in elementary, K-8 and a

middle school from the beaches to

the county line. I look forward to a

phenomenal year at COPE Center

North, an amazing high school! Our

students will continue to soar and

reach new heights as we “FOCUS

ON STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT”!

organization was able to set up a table

display and interact with park patrons.

PACE Miami’s “I Me Day” PACE Center for Girls had an opportunity to experience workshops that catered to learning about Mindfulness and Wellness.

Couture Mobile Spa provided workshops for the girls pertaining to nail care, opportunities to create bath oils, bath salts, and

information on aromatherapy. The girls participated in yoga workshops which included techniques on breathing calmly and

meditation. One of their favorite sessions was making smoothies from items they had never tried before like Almond Soy milk,

peanut butter, and bananas. It was a great day to get pampered!
