A five day celebration for 

MSP employees will be 

taking place August 28th‐

September 1st in various 

locations. Photobooths, 

massage chairs, animal 

ambassadors, video games, 

treats and MORE! There will 

also be an online raffle for 

MSP experiences on

2. Committee Updates a. Forum Committee: A video has been posted on MyMSPConnect, with a

b. MSP Nice Celebration Committee: The date for the 4th Annual MSP Nice celebration is coming February, 2018 at Terminal 2! If you’re interested in joining the planning committee, please join us at our meeting following CSAC in September.

c. MSP Jobs: The committee is hosting its second onsite Job Fair on Tuesday, August 29th, 11AM-2PM at Terminal 2. If you have questions or need additional information about the job fair, contact Terrie DeBaker at terrie.debaker@mspmac.org or 612-794-9143

d. MSP Nice: The MSP Nice Training video will be filming in late October. Look for more information on Auditions via email as well as an update at the September CSAC meeting- committee members are wanted to help in the audition process! Auditions will be held early October.

5. Terminal Construction Updates- Bridget Rief

Bridget shared information of current construction projects at MSP: Terminal 2 Lobby restroom construction is finalized but waiting on the

artwork to be completed Terminal 2 curb side check in is now operational Terminal 1 Skyway connecter is 48% complete, with a Spring 2018

completion date (this will be fully completed prior to the hotel opening) Terminal 1 Vertical Circulation and Penthouse project will continue to have

heavy construction (and noise) with a completion date of December Terminal 1 Entry Plaza has now been opened with 4 lanes. A total of 7

lanes is estimated to be open mid-November The new outbound roadway opened this week, currently there are only 2

lanes, the additional 2 lanes are set to open August 19th Terminal 1 South Checkpoint - Automated Security Lanes (ASL) will begin

installation August 21st. The plan is for that checkpoint to be PreCheck only;

no employees or regular screened passengers. They will have to utilize the north checkpoint during the three weeks of Automated Security Lane (ASL) installation.

MSP’s Q2 ASQ 

ranking was 4.29; a 

ranking of 5th place.  

 

The next CSAC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 14th, 2017 at 10‐11 a.m.,

8. MSP Nice Cards- The MSP Nice cards list the MSP Brand Standards that we use in our customer service training. Please use these cards to recognize MSP employees who are demonstrating good customer service. If you need a supply, please contact katlyn.kaiser@mspmac.org or call 612-726-5574.
