Assist adults of various cultures with basic mathematics, English, social studies, science, and life skills as they prepare for GED and citizenship testing.

Regions Hospital, St. Paul, MN – Administrative Resident 2014 – Aug. 2014 Tasked with evaluating and providing recommendations on a real-time patient feedback pilot which

aimed to improve experience by providing timely feedback to physicians and nursing leaders, providing the opportunity to perform service recovery and improve experience.

Served as project manager for the real-time feedback project: o Worked closely with a physician partner on assessing and improving the project. o Provided ongoing recruitment, supervision, and training for the volunteers. o Collaborated with nurse managers and physician leaders to determine the optimal

following settings: medical facilities, social services, educational testing, and legal matters. Acted as a cultural liaison, by providing relevant cultural or linguistic insights, in order to prevent or

Investigated the differences in response to music versus non-music groups in undergraduate males who completed the TSST

Administered the study which included taking heart rate, blood pressure, and galvanic skin response as well as administering the TSST for 15 participants

Analyzed physiological data using Biopac software and scored State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) for over 20 participants

Results showed that the effects of music on physiological or subjective recovery from stress may not be different from the effects of general auditory stimuli such as white noise.
