This workforce solution is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration. In the Know Club CAPS CAPS ET/BS Senior, Colton, came in to visit with Club CAPS. Club CAPS had the opportunity to investigate and experience the Oculus VR (virtual reality) System Rick spent 27 years with the Kellogg’s Company managing in various operation departments. While at Kellogg’s, he was part of the team that established the Gold Standard for one of Kellogg’s flagship products. The team traveled to several plants around the country helping to establish the Gold Standard. Rick is a mentor for boys and young men, and has been for 20 years. He is currently mentoring for 2 organizations. His family and his faith are a major part of his life. He has 2 sons and 3 grandkids, that he is crazy about! He is also an avid sports fan, golf is his favorite sport to play. Rick brings a passion for helping young people succeed in whatever they choose to do. His experience and enthusiasm will be an asset in his new role as the Career Advisor. Rick is excited to be a part of the team and the Westside CAPS Program is excited to have him on board. The Westside CAPS Program is pleased to add Eldridge “Rick” Bell to the CAPS team. Rick is the new Westside CAPS Career Advisor. The Career Advisor will serve CAPS Students in addition to their assigned academic advisors. His office is located on the main campus in the WHS Guidance Office. Rick is joining CAPS after 5 years as an instructor and academic advisor at Metropolitan Community College. Prior to that he spent 35 years managing operations in various production environments.

Club CAPS
