SPOTLIGHT ON STAFF

Mrs. Toni Jobes, our Early Childhood Education and After School Program Coordinator, will be leaving us after this year. While she will certainly be missed at St. Mark, she is taking a position at All Saints Catholic School to assist them with rebuilding their preschool, a program she helped start years ago. She is going back to her roots and she is the right person for that job, so we are excited for her and wish her the very best.

Job Openings: *If you or someone you know is interested in the Early Childhood Education/After School Program Coordinator position, please click here for complete details. *We are also hiring part-time Preschool Aides for next year. Please contact [email protected] if you or someone you know is interested.

HELP SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT ST. MARK!

Do you know someone interested in a St. Mark education for their PK-8th grade child? Limited openings are available in select grade levels for the 2018-19 school year. KEEP THOSE REFERRALS COMING: Encourage prospective families to register for a private tour at www.stmcs.net/open-house-tours. If they attend, you'll receive a $10 gift certificate for the Lion's Den Spirit Store, and if they enroll, you could receive a $500 tuition credit!

2018-19 school year. Families no longer need to place orders for school supplies through the school or purchase them on their own. Supplies will be available for pick-up at our "Back To School Sunday" event in August. Please click here for the complete 2018-19 schedule of fees.

PLEASE CHECK LOST AND FOUND

Between now and the end of school, please be sure to check "Lost and Found" in the school office. It is overflowing with sweaters and other items, most without names. At the end of the year, unclaimed items will be donated to the Used Uniform Sale.

STABAT MATER PERFORMANCE AT ST. MARK

Join us for a free performance of Giovanni Bautista Pergolesi's Stabat Mater at 7:30 PM on Monday, May 14 at St. Mark Catholic Church. The Stabat Mater was Pergolesi's last work and he died at the age of 26 shortly after composing it. The beloved text is well known from our Stations of the Cross hymns, and Pergolesi's exquisite setting of the text is one of the finest ever composed. This profoundly devotional work is scored for two soloists and orchestra and will be performed by the Camerata Dallas Young Soloists and Internationally-renowned sopranos Dominika Zamara and
