Tere are two basic services the agency provides:

1 - Emergency Financial Assistance - Provide shortterm financial assistance to eligible veterans andtheir amilies who demonstrate a need. Tis in-cludes, but is not limited to, ood, gas, mortgage/rent and assistance with utility payments.

2 - Claims Assistance - Provide services or veteransand other claimants or help with VA claims or anyederal, state, or local benefits.

Public Notice - Grass ClippingsPaulding Village

Paulding Village enforces a grass clippings ordinance, OrdinanceNo. 1482-14.

A. This ordinance provides that no person, including, but not limitedto, a person hired by the property owner, shall, regardless of intent,throw, drop, discard, place of deposit grass or grass clippings, orcause grass or grass clippings to be thrown, discarded, placed ordeposited, on any public property, specifically including streets andhighways, not owned by him or her, or in the waters of the Village.

B. Whoever violates Ordinance No. 1482-14 is guilty of a mi-nor misdemeanor and shall be issued a written warning for afirst offense, and shall be fined $25.00 for a second offense, anamount not to exceed $50.00 for a third offense, and an amount

not to exceed $100,00 for a fourth and all subsequent offenses.Each successive day that this ordinance is violated shall consti-tute a separate offense.

Public Notice - Zoning Paulding Village

Paulding Village is zoned to help guide residential, retail/ser-

vice and industrial land use. Residents and property owners arereminded to check with the Village for compliance with zoning

regulations for any new use of property and new construction

including additions and out buildings. Information may be ob-tained from the Village offices at 116 South Main Street or by

calling 419-399-4011.

Public Notice - Junk Paulding Village

Paulding Village enforces a junk ordinance, Ordinance No. 841-82, as amended.

A. Junk is defined as: any old or scrap copper, brass, rope, rags,trash, waste, batteries, paper, rubber, junked, dismantled, orwrecked automobiles or parts thereof, iron, steel, and other old orscrap ferrous or nonferrous materials.

B. Junk motor vehicle means any motor vehicle which is in awrecked or worn-out condition and unfit for operation as a motorvehicle, except a collector’s vehicle as defined in Ohio RevisedCode Section 4501.01 with current Ohio license plates, or a his-torical vehicle as defined in Ohio Revised Code Section 4501.01with current Ohio license plates.

C. The owner of property means the person, firm, or corporation inwhose name said premises are listed in the deed records in thePaulding County, Ohio Recorder’s Office.

D. Violators failing to comply with a junk ordinance notification

within three (3) days may be cited into Mayor’s Court or the Pauld-ing County Court.

E. Whoever violates any provision of Ordinance No. 841-82, asamended, shall be fined $50.00 for a first offense, an amount notto exceed $75.00 for a second offense, an amount not to exceed$100.00 for a third offense, and an amount not to exceed $150.00for a fourth and all subsequent offenses. Each successive day thatthis ordinance is violated shall constitute a separate offense.
