G.B.H.S,Kottarakkara. Wehadcompletedoneweekofour

SecondSpellofTeachingPractice.Yesterdaywasthefirst

dayoftheschoolyouthfestival.Todaywasthesecond

day.Alltheteachertrainiesactivelyparticipatedintheyouth

festival.Thiswasthefirstco-curricularactivitywhichwas

conductedintheschoolafterwestartedoursecondspellof

teachingpractice.

Ihadcompletedmy4lessonplansinthis

week.Aswearefamiliarwiththeschoolenvironment,Iwas

comfortableindealingwiththestudentsandtheschool

activities.ASwearealreadyfamiliarwiththedailyactivitiesin

theschool,Ineverfeltdifficultyindealingwiththedaytoday

routines.Ieasilyaccommodatedmyselfwiththeflowof

activitiesintheschool.Wegotlotofsubstitutionclasses,so

thefirstweekitselfwegotopportunitytointeractwith

studentsindifferentclasses.

completedoursecondweekinG.B.H.S,Kottarakkara.

14/11/2016,MondaywasChildren’sday,sotheassemblyof

thatdaywassomethingspecial.Thisweekalittlerushfeltin

theschoolactivities,becauseofthescienceexhibitionatsub

districtlevel.Asitwasthetimeofsubdistrictlevel

competitionofsports,anumberofteacherswereonduty.so

wewereaskedtotakeclassesinthefreeperiod.

InthisweekIcompletedmy12lesson

templates.Yesterdayourteacherscametoobserveour

classes.GeneralteacherShalinimisscamealongwithour

optionalteachersoumyamiss.Theygiveusgoodcomments.

Iamhappywithmyactivitiesintheschool.

ABVP.Eventhoughtherewasn’tanyclasses,alltheteacher

trainieswerepresentthereintheschooluntil4pm.

Thisisour15th dayintheschool.After22nd we

werenotintheschoolforthreedays.Wewentbacktoour

collegeinordertoattendtheInternalexams.Thenwecame

backon29thNovember,Tuesday.

On21/11/2016IconductedDiagnostictestfor

thestudents.Duringthesedaysthestrengthoftheclasswas

verypoor.Mostofthestudentswerebusywiththeir

preparationfortheyouthfestival,sports,scienceexhibition,

atthedistrictlevel.

Todaywasthe20thworkingdayofoursecond

spellteachingpractice.Todaywasthelastdaybeforethe

Christmasexams.Ihadcompletedmy25lessontemplates.

Wepreparedthestudentsfortheexams.Itookmaximum

efforttopreparethemtofacetheexams.

Inthisweekweconductedtheachievement

testforthestudents.Asthestudentswerepreparingforthe

Christmasexams,thistestwasatrialforthestudents.All

theteacherswereinarushtocompletetheportionmeantfor

theexams.Sowedidn’tgetanyfreeperiod.Todaywewill

leavetheschoolforacoupleofdaysandwillbebackonlyon

On7/12/2016theschoolcelebrated

thedryday.Allthestudentsactivelyparticipatedinthe

programme.Weteachertrainiesgavethemnecessary

guidance.

school.Wecamebackafterthevacationon3/1/2017,

Tuesday.Duringthesedayswegotopportunitytovisitthe

IEDCentrewhichisfunctioningalongwiththeschool.The

timewespentthere,giveusalotoflessonsasateacherand

asapersonalso.

ThisweekIcompletedmy28thlesson

template.OurconcernedEnglishteacherwaschangedthis

week.Sothisgaveatensionforus.Becausewewerenot

familiarwiththenewteacher.Butdayspassedonwegot

comfortablewiththenewconcernedteacher.Todaywe

conductedtheconscientizationclassonthetopicofdrug

abuse.

school.Todaywasthelastdayofourteachingpractice.This

weekIcompletedmyalllessontemplates.Allthesedayswe

participatedinthelunchmealprogramme.Itwasan

interestingexperience.

Astodaywasthelastdayofour

teachingpracticewedistributedsweetsforthestaffsand

students.Asmyconcernedclasswas8B,allthestudents

weresadthattodaywewillleavethem.ButIpromisedthem

thatIwillkeepintouchwiththem.

Overallthesecondspellteaching

practicegavemealotofexperiences.
