First, we have the Word that was part of creaon, with and in every aspect of Gods work from the beginning and then we have a baby in a manger. Bringing them togeth- er helps us to see that Jesus brings together God and humanity—His home is not just in heaven, but here, with us, too. Emmanuel, God with us, as we celebrate Jesusbirth, fill us with your light that we may see that you are present with us in our daily lives. In Jesusname, Amen. WEEKEND MUSIC Part of our Christmas Eve tradion involves singing beloved Christmas carols. Many of these carols were wrien in the 19th century to proclaim the story of Christ's birth, and to provide peace and hope in a world that was changing faster than they could imagine. WEEKEND MESSAGE

This weekend we have two readings that lend different insights to the truth about Jesus. First, we have the Word that was part of creation, with and in every aspect of God’s work from the beginning and then we have a baby in a manger. Bringing them togeth-er helps us to see that Jesus brings together God and humanity—His home is not just in heaven, but here, with us, too. Emmanuel, God with us, as we celebrate Jesus’ birth, fill us with your light that we may see that you are present with us in our daily lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

WEEKEND MUSIC Part of our Christmas Eve tradition involves singing beloved Christmas carols. Many of these carols were written in the 19th century to proclaim the story of Christ's birth, and to provide peace and hope in a world that was changing faster than they could imagine. May we find peace and hope in singing them, too.
