NOTE: At times, the math concept will not be introduced until the day of the assignment.
As stated in earlier newsletters, we use a classroom clipchart. Students may clip up or down depending on the choices they make each day. Each student has a graph for the month where the color for the day is marked. These are kept in the orange folder. Please make sure this returns to school each day as I cannot make replacement copies.
Students can also earn tickets for “Being Caught” doing something good. Three tickets are drawn at the end of the day for a trip to the Prize Box.
Students practice the rules and help each other follow the rules throughout the day.
They work as teams to earn table points. The table with the most points earns “Friday Treat” each week.
