We are now 11.8% towards our goal of $27,000! Congratulations to our halfway surprise reward winners: Team Sreibers, Team Baker, Team Reuland and also Team Stuard! We were able to reward 4 classes with an Easter smencil! Now the students will be recording their reading minutes in style! We can't make our goal without your help! Keep on logging those minutes and getting those donations in. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected] or visit the Apollo PTA website for more information: Apollo PTA Home Corporate Matching: Do you know if your work company participates in Corporate Matching? So many companies participate and your donation to Apollo doubles! If so, on your sponsorship form, please note "YES" and write the company name. Donations can still be made via our Apollo PTA website, just make sure to write "Online Donation already made--$50 Corporate Match with you company name." Let us know if you need more information.
Save you donations now for our Clothing & Textile Drive on April 3rd-21st. The more we collect, the more we earn and better the earth! Bins are ready for your donations in the foyer; please make sure the donations are placed in the proper bin by grade level. Accepted Items: CLOTHING new and gently used. SHOES paired only. TOWELS, STUFFED ANIMALS, HATS, SHEETS, BLANKETS, QUILTS, BEDSPREADS, DRAPES, PURSES, BELTS... All items must be dry, clean and in a tied plastic bag.

The Apollo PTA Science Fair is coming up on Friday, April 21st from 6-8PM! All Apollo families are welcome to attend to view projects and see the demo booths! Apollo Family Fun Night The Y welcomes Apollo Elementary families for fun, inflatables, games, & more! Friday, March 31 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Coal Creek Family YMCA A $10 per person donation is suggested, but any amount will be happily accepted.

Walk through a youth bedroom, and learn what signs of substance use to look for, and what to do if you find something. Includes expert Q&A forum, and brief professional talk on communicating with youth about at-risk behavior. This is a PARENT ONLY event. April 25th At 10AM or 7PM author of Gift of Failure, Jessica Lahey, summarizes the current research on autonomy-supportive parenting and gives us advice on how to allow students to succeed over the long term.
