Important Notices o Working Bee: PCS will be having a Working Bee on Saturday 9th March from 8am to
12pm. We are looking for parent volunteers to help out. If you are free to assist, please contact
the school to advise. This is a great way to work off some of your family school service hours.
o Parent Support: Throughout the year, PCS will seek assistance from parents for
events, excursions, camps and other various items. These are all fantas(c ways to work off
your required family school service hours. If you are interested in providing assistance, you will
be required to hold a current ochre card (working with children’s card). Volunteer ochre card
forms can be collected from the office. Please note the Safe NT can take up to six weeks to
process your applica(on for the WWC card.
o Camp Australia: Bookings for Outside School Hours Care are now open for 2019.
Families who wish to use this service are required to register an account with Camp Australia
by comple(ng an online enrolment form. Families are also asked to book in advance where
possible.
To register with camp Australia, please go to https://pp.campaustralia.com.au/account/register-contacts
o Middle School Immunisaons: Thank you to families in Years 7 and 9 who
have returned their signed vaccina(ons forms. If you s(ll have the forms at home, please
return them ASAP. This includes forms where families do not wish for their child to receive the
vaccina(on with the permission sec(on marked ‘No’.
o Morning Yard Duty: A reminder to families that staff commence yard duty from 8am
each school day. To ensure safety amongst all students, students should not be on the school
premises before 8am.
o Kiss and Go Lane: Please note that the Kiss and Go Lane is for drop off and pick up of
students only. Please do not leave your car una<ended in the lane as it stops the flow of
traffic. If it is necessary to leave your car for any reason to enter the school grounds, please
find a parking spot to do so. Thank you for your help in this ma<er.
