Week 10 Term 4 2016
Stage 3 Camp
Thank you to the Stage 3 teachers, Mrs Ford and Miss Deal for
leaving their own families last week to spend the time at Point
Wolstoncroft with our Stage 3 students. It is an amazing
experience that I hope we can continue in years to come. Thank
you again!
CabraFilm Festival
Congratulations to S3M and Mr Morabito
for the fantastic result at the Cabra Film
Festival. Their movie won People’s
Choice and the overall winning movie.
This is an amazing result.
Staff and Students leaving
To all the families who will be leaving our Hobartville community,
we wish you the very best of luck in the future and all the best
with your educational journey. Mrs Brennan will officially retire at
the start of the 2017 school year and we wish her the very best in
her retirement. Mrs Fisher is taking a position at Llandilo PS and
Mrs Wilson is continuing as an L3 trainer and also a teacher at
Riverbank PS. We wish them the very best of luck in their new
schools. Last, but definitely not least, we wish Cathy Hession, our
canteen manager the very best of luck in the next chapter of her
life. Thank you for everything you have done over the last 10
years. It has been greatly appreciated.
New Canteen 2017
The Hungry Miner received the tender for our canteen, which will
be operational 5 days per week. We look forward to working
closely with them in 2017. A sample menu can be found on page
4.
2017
Students will start the year by lining up in their 2016 classes. New
classes will be formed asap when we know exact numbers.
Hopefully this will be on the first or second day.
Thank you to all the Hobartville community for your support over
2016. It has been an extremely busy and very fast year. There has
been so many wonderful learning opportunities and sharing
experiences, for which the staff and students are extremely
proud. We would like to wish you all a very safe and happy
Christmas break and look forward to you returning in 2017.
