What is PowerPoint?

In order to make our stories digital, we will use a program called PowerPoint.By using PowerPoint, you will be able to add text, pictures, animations, sound and narration to your story.Let’s get started!

NarrationNow that you have added animations and sound you can add your voice to your digital story.In order to narrate your story, click on the “Slide Show” tab on the toolbar.Then click on Record Narration and begin to record your voice reading your story. Make sure you only record one slide at a time.Watch me!

TransitionsOnce you have narrated your story you can add transitions to your slides.In order to add transitions click on the “Animations” tab on the toolbar.Then, click on the transitions you would like to add to each individual slide.You can also rearrange the order of sounds, animations, and narrations so that everything plays in the order you would like it. To do this click on custom animation and re-order things in the custom animation box to the right.Watch me!
