News for the Week of October 22, 2018 Wednesday’s Weekly Word The school day at Fonwood Early Childhood Center starts at 7:30 a.m. Students arriving AFTER 8:00 a.m. are considered TARDY. Early attendance is taken at 8:00 a.m. Parents/Guardians of students with excessive absences and tardies will be called in for a meeting with the principal. Teachers will bring students to the book fair on Tuesday and Thursdays to purchase books at their class scheduled time. Scholastic Book Fair Stop by Fonwood ECC

October 18-31, 2018 Below is the classroom book fair schedule

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from October 18th until October

30th parents can send money for their child to purchase books

at the book fair. Teachers will bring students to the book fair on

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

Teachers will meet with all parents to talk about their children’s CIRCLE assessment results. Parents will participate in fun math and literacy activities. Parents will be provided with strategies and tools to help support learning at home. *The class with the highest participation will win a pizza party!!! * Student’s that participate in this event will receive a wristband to wear to participate in free dress on Thursday, November 8, 2018!!!
