Hello!  I’m  Jena,  and  my  favorite  things  on  earth   include   angsty   teen   novels  (Mockingjay   salute!),   knitting,   television  dramas,   and   hanging   out   with   my   kids  and   husband.   And   when   I’m   not  obsessing   over   one   of   those   things,  you’ll  usually  find  me  pointing  a  camera  at  someone.  at  someone.  

I   launched  Jena  Jenkins  Photography  in  2012.  I  have  spent  time  in  other  areas  of  photography,   but  weddings   are   quickly  becoming  my  focus.  I  love  to  seeing  the  little   details   and   personal   touches   of  each   wedding,   the   unique   way   that   a  couple   interacts,   and   I     love  getting   to  seesee  a  whole   support  network  of   family  and   friends   coming   together   to  celebrate.   Add   to   all   of   that   the  challenge  of  using  my  skills  and  tools  to  capture  it  all,  and  I  just  can’t  get  enough.

I  like  to  shoot  a  mix  of  planned,  casually  posed   portraits   along   with   plenty   of  candid  moments  that  tell  your  story  and  preserve   the   emotions   of   the   day.   I’d  love   to   help   construct   a   wedding  timeline  so  that  you  have  plenty  of  time  for  preparing,  pictures,  and  for  enjoying  every  moment  of  the  day  fully.every  moment  of  the  day  fully.

As   someone   who's   been   on   the   other  side   of   the   camera   (and   tends   to   feel  awkward   about   being   the   center   of  attention),   I   totally   understand   the  excitement  and  nerves  and  even  stress  that  goes  into  planning  a  wedding.  Think  of  me  as  not  just  your  photographer,  but  asas   a   friend   who   can   help   make   your  wedding  day  a  joyful  celebration  of  your  unique  relationship.

Before  we   get   into   the   specifics   of  your   wedding   day   photography,   I  first   want   to   fill   you   in   on   my  engagement   sessions!   Some   of   my  wedding   collections   include   an  engagement   session,   so   I   want   to  make  sure  you  know  all  about  them.  

TheThe   question   I   receive   most   about  an  engagement  session  is,  "What  are  engagement   portraits   for?  Everyone   already   knows   we're  getting  married!"  

TheThe   answer   is   that   in   addition   to  giving  you  the  opportunity  for  a  fun  and  romantic  hour  or  two  with  your  spouse-­to-­be,  engagement  sessions  can   be   really   useful   in   a   few  different   ways.   Many   people   use  their  engagement  sessions  for  their  SaveSave  the  Dates  cards  (I  can  help  with  that   if   you’d   like!),  wedding  website,  newspaper    announcement,  or  to  put  in  a  custom  guest  book  (again,  I  can  help  you  make  one!).    

One   last   way   that   an   engagement  session   can   be   helpful   is   that   it      gives  us  a  chance  to  work  together  before   the  big  day.   If   either  of   you      is   less   than   comfortable   being  photographed,   an   engagement  session   can   be   an   awesome  low-­stresslow-­stress  way  for  us  to  get  used  to  each   other   and   experiment   to   find  the  types  of  posing  that  works  best  for  you.

As   for   how   the   session   goes   down,  we   can   make   plans   around   what  works  best  for  you.  For  example,  we  can  shoot  at  the  place  you  two  had  your  first  date,  head  to  your  favorite  park,  or  go  somewhere   that  makes  you   just   bubble   with   love   from   the  inside  out.  inside  out.  

Regarding   what   you   wear,   I   always  say   to   wear   what   you   feel  comfortable   in.   As   we   customize  your   session,   including   the   location  and   props,   I'll   provide   you  with   tips  and  advice  on  how  to  dress  for  the  day  of  your  session.  And,  of  course,  youyou  can  always  bring  a  few  different  outfits  and  options  for  the  shoot.  Be  sure  to  plan  on  a  night  out  afterward  because  you’ll  be  looking  sharp  and  feeling  the  love!

As   I   mentioned   above,   some   of   my  wedding   packages   come   with   an  engagement  session.   If  you  want   to  have  me   just  do  your    engagement  session   photos,   though   -­-­   or   if   you  want   to   tack   it   on   to   a   different  wedding  photo  package   -­-­   I   charge  $200$200   for   the   session.   That   includes  up   to   two   hours   of   time,   unlimited  outfit   changes  and  all   of   the  digital  images  to  print  or  use  however  you  like.

If  you  have  any  more  questions,  don't  hesitate  to  ask!  

I  suppose  that  this  seems  like  the  part  where  I  tell  you  that  Jena  Jenkins  Photography  is  

the   best   there   is,   and   then   pressure   you   to   book   ASAP.   For  me,   though,   booking   a  

wedding   photographer   is   a   really,   really   important   decision   that   you   shouldn't   take  

lightly.  

FirstFirst   and   foremost,   I   believe   that   you   should   book   a   wedding   photographer   who  

captures  the  types  of  images  you  love  and  whose  vision  you  trust.  In  addition,  I  believe  

that  your  photographer  should  be  someone  whose  company  you  enjoy.  After  all,  you're  

going  to  spend  a  lot  of  time  with  that  person  on  your  big  day!  They're  basically  going  to  

be  your  shadow!

package  begins  with  photography  

of  your  ceremony  and  events  with  

me,  Jena,  as  your  photographer.  

FromFrom   there,   you   can   upgrade   to  

additional  hours  of  coverage  and  

heirloom  albums  and  products  for  

preserving  your  images.  You  also  

have  the  option  to  add  a  second  

photographer   to   your   collection.  

More   shooters   means   more  

images,images,   so   that's   always   good.  

Adding   more   time   helps   ensure  

eliminate  that  rushed  feeling  and  

allows  us  to  document  more  parts  

of   the  day,    such  as  getting  your  

hair  and  makeup  done.  

No   matter   what   collection   or  

add-­ons   you   select,   the   images  

from   your   wedding   day   will   be  

beautiful.   I   take   both  

documentary   type   images   and  

also   posed   shots.   From   the  

moment   you   reserve   your   date  

withwith   me,   we'll   work   together   to  

make   sure   every   important  

moment   is   captured   on   your   big  

day.

Trust   me.   I'm   here   to   think   about  lighting   and   posing   and   backgrounds  so  that  you  don’t  have  to  worry  about  any  of  it.  Just  concentrate  on  being  in  the  moment  and  soaking  up  all  the  love  

and  happiness  that  surrounds  you!

Don't   be   afraid   to   laugh   or   show  emotion.  This   is  your  wedding  day!  Go  ahead  and  feel  all  the  feels!  Capturing  the   emotions   of   the   day   is   just   as  important   as   the   pretty   details,   and  chances   are   these  will   be   the   images  

that  mean  the  most  to  you.

If  a  little  bit  of  nerves  do  creep  in,  take  a  deep  breath  and   connect  with   your  spouse.  Look  at  each  other  or  touch  an  arm  or  hand  to  steady  yourselves  and  remember  what  the  day  is  all  about.

Make  that  first  kiss  last  for  a  few  beats!  Your   ceremony   will   unfold   naturally  without   coaching   from   me   or   anyone  else,   and   that’s   good!   But   if   I   could  whisper  in  your  ear,  I’d  tell  you  to  kiss  a  little  longer  and  look  at  each  other  as  

you  come  back  down  the  aisle.

Put  some  thought  into  the  appropriate  undergarments  for  your  big  day.  From  your   crinoline   slip   to   your   bustier   to  shape   wear,   what   you're   wearing  underneath   your   gorgeous   dress  matters.   Those   items   play   a   major  

supporting  role  -­-­  literally!

Do  a  trial  run  of  your  makeup  and  hair,  paying   attention   to   how   long   the  process  takes  and  how  you  feel  moving  around  once  you’re  all  done  up.  Also  be  sure  to  plan  a  fun  date  night  afterward  to   take   advantage   of   how   great   you  

look!
