Dear Friends of NNU Athletics, It has been more than 15 years since I came to NNU to serve as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach. It is fun to look back on how God opened doors for me to come and work at a Christian school in Idaho. From the first day I stepped on campus, I was in love with NNU! The family atmosphere, the significant investment in the development of student-athletes, and the opportunity to challenge young people in their faith was all so distinctive and exceptional. In early 2015, I accepted the position of Athletic Director. I had not planned or expected this new adventure, but it has been a blessing. I am amazed by the outpouring of love and support from the NNU community. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to serve here. The mission of NNU is the transformation of the whole person. We believe that athletics provides a unique environment in which to live out that mission. Student-athletes come to NNU to compete at a high level athletically and get a great education, but they also have an opportunity to grow in their faith. It has been incredibly rewarding to see the majority of our student-athletes not just graduate with a meaningful degree and reach their goals athletically, but also develop a deeper faith or come to know Christ. Ultimately, our goal is to make an eternal difference in the lives of our student- athletes, and help prepare them to make a positive impact in the world. As we endeavor to provide the most satisfying, well-rounded collegiate athletic experience possible for our student-athletes, we need you. In this increasingly competitive environment, the Nighthawks Athletic Association helps provide scholarship dollars, contributes to capital projects and facility upgrades. We invite you to join! As you will see, there are four membership levels available to you. We hope you will support our student-athletes in the way that is most meaningful for you. Our entire athletic department – student-athletes, coaches, and staff – greatly value your involvement and appreciate your partnership at any level.
