Trades Exploration 10 will give students the opportunity to experience a hands-on introduction to the construction trades of carpentry, electrical, plumbing and welding.

Students will learn essential skills such as how to measure, cut, wire, build and weld; skills and attitudes needed for success in school and in the workplace; the benefits of Apprenticeship and Surrey District Partnership Programs, and career related opportunities.

This course will include guest speakers and field trips to post-secondary institutions and industry facilities. This course is full days/4 days per week. Please note that the first week is Wednesday to Friday, all others are Monday to Thursday
