Social Media Recommendations

Social media can play a large role in energizing your community around your fundraising event, as well as spreading the word about what K9s For Warriors does to help rescue dogs and veterans. Were here to help get you started on building your K9s For Warriors social media plan!

Helpful Tips:

Decide what platforms youll be using to spread the word, e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google +, and Pinterest.

Decide what accounts youll be posting from. Do you have a group page specific to your event? Will you be posting from your personal accounts or a business account?

Note: the more friends and followers you have on a page, the further your reach will be. FYI- creating a separate account for your event may not be helpful if you dont already have an established following.

Create Content!

Dont feel overwhelmed by this task! Everything you need is already created for you. K9s For Warriors puts out original content every day through our own social channels. Feel free to share, repost, or retweet our content with your own special message attached.
