 Dear Parent/Carer

Year 10 Work Experience Week 16th -20th July 2018

Year 10 students have the opportunity to go out on work experience for a week in July 2018.  It is an opportunity to find out more about the world of work and explore career ideas.

Please find enclosed further information:

Log in and password details of the NYBEP database Guidelines on how to search for a placement of previous employers on the NYBEP

database. Work experience agreement form which must be completed once a placement has been

secured. Key information for students including health and safety checks.

Your son or daughter will be required to source their own placement. This could be done via the NYBEP database, someone they already know or work for part time or a company they would like to find out more about.

If your son or daughter has a particular career area in mind it is important that they start contacting employers soon to ensure success at securing a placement. I have details of employers who took students last year if they require any help.
