78XX / 58XX / CONNECT KEY ADDRESS BOOKS

The new Device Address book supports favourites. Favourites are entries which are used frequently and makes it easy and quick to use the Device Address book.

This replaces the fax speed dial functionality previously available.

Up to 1000 Device Address Book entries can be configured as Favourites.

ENABLING FAVOURITES AT USER INTERFACE – Enter IP of Printer

· Change Management on far right to Security

Change Permissions: Open to All Users to allow everyone to enter their own favourites.

Enter the I.P. address of your Xerox and select the Properties tab –

· Select All Users for access at the copier screen

CREATE AN EMAIL FAVOURITE

You have the option of touching the top line and changing details of the Name

Touch the Grey Star on the Right of the i box to add this to your favourites. The star will turn orange.

FAX ADDRESS BOOK – UPDATING VIEW AND CHANGING POLICY TO ALLOW ALL USERS TO ADD ENTRIES

With the ConnectKey controller the Device Address book supersedes the existing Fax Dial Directory on the previous platform.

The Speed Dial feature previously available on prior platforms has been replaced by the Favourites feature.
