Work Packs for 18th May-22nd May and 1st June-5th June
Dear Parents/ Carers,
1. A grid of activities your child can choose from. These include P.E., art, Literacy, science and fun activities that do not rely on too many resources. PLEASE DO NOT WORRY IF YOU CANNOT COMPLETE THEM ALL- they are ideas to help support your children at this strange time! Some of these activities are practical whilst others can be completed on paper or online.
2. A list of Maths activities that will help to maintain your child’s maths skills. They may need your support with these, even if it is only to provide numbers and check answers. Daily 10 maths questions shared on teams each morning.
3. If any children are interested, Into Film have announced they are running a film competition. They would like the children to create a short film and use nature and their surroundings in an engaging and creative way, to capture the calmness and document something they've noticed or appreciated while spending more time in their local area. The film should be 3 minutes or under and can be made using phones, iPads, camera etc. The makers of the winning film will receive a home filmmaking bundle worth £300, and two runners up will get their hands on a year's subscription to Netflix. The closing date for entries is 19.6.20 More information and how to enter can be found here: https://www.intofilm.org/competitions/16?utm_source=Into+Film+-+Master&utm_campaign=6c749add51-home-learning-8-cl&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_a1465a9b17-6c749add51-138447191
